25 Broad

April 12th, 2007
25 Broad is at the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District and is filled with the history of a bygone era in New York. For over 70 years this incredible building housed the top legal and banking firms that brought America’s business to every corner of the globe. This Italian Renaissance Revival-style building, created by the Clinton &Russell architecture firm, is a mere block away from the NY Stock Exchange and certainly caters to those that work and live in the finance sector. With high-end finishes that include a 24-hour concierge service, a supremely equipped health and fitness facility for residents, a tea room, viewing garden, and even a fully stocked children’s playroom.

This is one of the few buildings in the area that encourages a luxurious lifestyle for singles and families alike. Ceiling heights range from 9 to 13 feet depending on the unit and floor, and all units come standard with premium quality wide-plank hardwood. The bathrooms are finished with marble flooring, glass wall tiling, and stainless steel fixtures. Few buildings in the area match precisely what this building has to offer, high-end everything with landmark status. [ 25 Broad ]

25 Broad has just begun to show their 3 furnished models that have exqusite high end materials which are comparable to apartments seeking $3000+Sqft and the only building in the Financial District that justifies $1200+Sqft. The building is a beauty!

Well I lived in this building from its initial conversion in 1997 to 2002 and it was a nice rental apartment. My apartment was lovely but a little dark. Generally a good experience. Downtown’s dead at weekends but you might see the peace as a bonus. With the 4/5/6, 2/3 and N/R within a couple of blocks as well as the J/M/Z right underneath the building getting around is pretty damn easy.

    John,

What apartment line did you have? FYI: Broad Street in front of our building is turning into a walk only promenade with cobble stones, this will make a nice difference in addition to the high end retail. Thanks for your comment

pensais que la zona del bajo Manhattan ha mejorado en los últimos años a nivel de barrio residencial? llegará a cotizarse algún día cómo lo que existe en los alrededores de central park?
